Weekly Wrap Up – February 16

Weekly Wrap Up

This is going to be a very short weekly wrap up, because it has been an absolutely insane week. It should not surprise you that I am writing this an hour before it’s scheduled to be posted (what’s new?). But it’s been an absolutely insane week at work, and I am leaving for a week-long trip TODAY. So, I’m sad to say, I have finished no books this week. But I will probably be finishing one very shortly (as in the next hour, because I still need to review it for tomorrow), and I started a few, so let’s talk about them.

The book I’m almost done with is The Holdout by Graham Moore. I really enjoyed his book The Last Days of Night, so I knew I had to read this one. It is A LOT different, but still pretty great. Fingers crossed I can get a review up tomorrow and still get some sleep (I know I’m crazy, don’t judge me).

I’m also a little over halfway through the audiobook of The Gene by Siddhartha Mukherjee, which is really great. I’ve been into science audiobooks the past few months, so I was excited to get to this one. I’m not sure how much audiobook listening I’ll be doing on my trip, but I am looking forward to finishing this soon.

I do have a few other books I’m in the middle of, but since I’ll be away for the next week, I’m going to just focus on enjoying my trip. I do have a lot of reading time on planes and trains, but I kind of want to focus on more fun reading instead of the reading I have to do. It’s a vacation, right?

Posts are scheduled until I return, so you won’t be missing anything from me! There likely won’t be a wrap up next week (I’m not sure how good my internet access will be), but I’ll probably be posting about my trip on Instagram, so be sure to follow me there (click the link or search for @advntrsofabibliophile)!

Have a great week, everyone!
