Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates! And Happy Sunday to everyone else! This is going to be a very short wrap up, because after two seven-book weeks, I finished a grand total of zero books. That’s right, I didn’t finish a single book this week. What can I say? It was a slow reading week. But I still have my current reads to talk about!
First, I am still working on the audiobook of The Pillars of the Earth, which I am really enjoying. I’m about halfway through, and I think this is going to live up to my five-star prediction. I also can’t believe it’s taken me this long to read it. Hopefully I finish it by the end of next month (seriously, it’s a really, really long audiobook).
I did put The Psychopath Inside on a brief hold this week. I am finding it very interesting, but I just wasn’t in the right headspace for a really technical book this week.
I’m also still working on Anna of Kleve by Alison Weir this week. I love this so far. This entire series is amazing, and continues to be a favorite. I’m hoping to finish and review this soon.
Finally, I started The Soul of an Octopus by Sy Montgomery. I have never flown through a nonfiction book this fast. I read the first half of it in a single sitting, and will likely finish the rest of it today. Not only is this an incredibly fascinating book, it’s also really accessible. I’m definitely a fan.
That’s it for this week! I hope you’re all having a great weekend! What are you reading?
