Happy April everyone! This reading list took me way too long to put together, because I have no idea what I’m in the mood to read. But I do have a few books I’m really hoping to get to this month. Here’s my reading list for April:
Anna of Kleve: The Princess in the Portrait by Alison Weir. This is one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and I am so excited to finally get around to reading it! I love this series so much. Every book in this series has been a five-star read, and I’m expecting no different from this one. It’ll be released mid-May, so I’ll have a review up sometime before then.
The Great Pretenders by Laura Kalpakian. I have recently discovered that I really enjoy historical fiction novels that take place in Hollywood. This one caught my attention, and I thought I’d give it a shot. This one is coming out on the 16th, so I’ll have a review up soon.
Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare. I officially have two Shakespeare plays left, and I’m saving As You Like It for last. Because I know nothing about this one, and I definitely think I’ll enjoy As You Like It.
Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou. I was debating which of my books about dinosaurs I should make my nonfiction book of the month, but I just couldn’t resist this one. Plus, Bill Gates recommended it, and I love everything he recommends (not kidding, I’ve loved every single one of his recommendations I’ve read).
That’s it for April! I’m hoping to read a few more books – I did read fourteen books in March – but I think this is a great starting point.
What book(s) are you most looking forward to reading this month?
