I had nothing planned for today’s post, so I thought I’d do another book tag! Okay, fine, I’m tired and feeling too lazy to write an original post, but still wanted to get a post up. I saw this tag on A Kernel of Nonsense, and decided it would be the perfect tag to do today. Let’s just get into it:
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
The one book I MUST finish is The Dead Zone by Stephen King. It was supposed to be my Halloween read, but with everything going on the past few months, I only managed to make it through half. So it’s going to turn into my Christmas read, instead.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
Not really. I read a lot of spooky books in October, but I don’t really have any seasonal reads left this year.
Is there a new release that you’re still waiting for?
Actually, I’m still waiting for Dark Age by Pierce Brown, because it was supposed to be released at the end of this year and got delayed a few times. But I can wait, because it’s going to be good.
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Other than The Dark Half, I would like to read Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams (the ending to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series) and One Day in December by Josie Silver.
Is there a book you think could still shock you & become a favorite of the year?
Honestly, I think I’ll enjoy the books I’m planning to read in the next week or so, but I don’t have high hopes for the becoming favorites.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2019?
Yes. But you’ll have to wait until January to find out.
I hope you enjoyed this tag! If you’d like to do this tag, consider yourself tagged.
