I don’t think you’re ready for this haul. I don’t think I’ve ever posted a haul like this before, and I’m honestly shocked. Because for the entire month of April, I purchased a grand total of – drumroll please – three books. Yes, three. I am both proud of myself and confused. In all the years I’ve been blogging, I don’t think I’ve bought fewer than ten books in a month, and that’s small for me. I think it’s time for a trip to the dollar bookstore.
Here is my smallest haul ever:
The Oracle Year by Charles Soule. This was my Book of the Month pick for April. I had a hard time choosing, but this one sounded fairly interesting. The synopsis reminded me a bit of some of the sci-fi books I’ve enjoyed recently, so I thought I’d give it a shot. If you’ve read this one, let me know what you think!
Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I enjoyed the first two books in this series, so I am planning on finishing it soon. I also just love the design of these books, and I wanted it, okay?
Circe by Madeline Miller. I read this earlier in the year as a digital ARC, but needed to own the finish copy because I loved it so much. Highly recommend this one – you can read my review of Circe if you want to find out more.
And that’s it for the month of April! I need to buy fewer books more often, because this was the easiest haul to write, ever.
What books did you acquire in the mont of April? Any new releases I should check out? Let me know in the comments!
