I can’t believe this is the last weekly wrap up of November! This year is going by WAY too fast. These past few weeks have seemed to fly by, and I don’t know if I like it. I’m getting back into the swing of things after a difficult month, but my life is still kind of crazy right now. Which probably has something to do with the fact that I’m just over a month away from completing grad school. Hopefully, I’ll still be able to read a lot, but I do need to work on my thesis, because, right now, I am not really happy with it. And I don’t think it’s happy with me, either.
Still, I did read a book this week. I finished A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro, which I read for the Reading New England Challenge. Overall, I enjoyed it, though I did have some issues with it. I will have a review up soon (possibly Monday), so keep an eye out for that if you’re interested.
I am still working on Victoria: The Queen, which is really, really good. It’s just long. And I can only take so much biography at a time. I really need to finish it soon, though, so expect a review in the next couple of weeks. I also started reading Gemina by Amie Kaufmann and Jay Kristof this week, and am hoping to finish it later today.
Sorry this post is a little late, I went to a Gilmore Girls revival party last night, and we didn’t finish watching until 2 am. But it was so, so worth it! Have you watched the new episodes yet? What did you think (no spoilers please)?
Have a great weekend!
