Celebrating the Little Things

Adventures of a Bibliophile is almost two! I created this blog on November 29, 2014 (even though my first post wasn’t until December 30 – which day should I celebrate?). So it is perfect timing that Heather at The Sassy Book Geek tagged me to do the Celebrating the Little Things Tag, because I think this is a great way to celebrate my blogiversary (there may or may not also be a giveaway in the works, so stay tuned…). It’s also Thanksgiving here in the US, and what better day to publish this tag?

Who was your very first follower (if you can find out)? Tag them and give them a shout out!

So a lot of my first followers are either spam or their blogs have since been deleted. But one of my very first followers was April, who actually followed me over here from my previous blog (on which I did nail art for like three years). So she’s definitely been following me longer than anyone else at this point. Thanks April!!!

What was the last milestone you reached?

I’m not sure, since there hasn’t been a major one recently (or at least one that WordPress considers a milestone – and it will only let me go back in my notifications so far). I hit 750 total followers recently, which was awesome! I also had my “best day for likes” last week, according to WordPress.

What was the very first post you posted on your blog? Share it with us!

My very first post was my 2014 Favorites and UnFavorites (which still has no likes lol). It’s not amazing – it definitely took me a year or so to write decent posts, and I’m constantly working on improving.

Who was your most recent follower? Tag them and give them a shout out!

I’m writing this a little bit in advance, but, as of right now, my most recent follower is Nazahet from Reading Diverse Books! I actually follow him as well, and love what his whole blog is about – you should definitely go check it out!

What was the last post you posted and who was the very first person who took their time to click the like button? Give them a shout out!

My last post was my Bookworm’s Guide to Black Friday, and I believe the first person to like it was Rachel from Journal of a Bibliophile, who also helpfully provided an addition to my post, so be sure to read the comments on that one! Thanks Rachel!

How many months have you been blogging for?

I’ve been blogging in general for around five years, since November 2011, so about 60 months. Though this is currently the only blog I write for, and have been for 24 months (2 years).

Do you have any bloggers you’re friends with? Give them a shout out.

I don’t know any fellow bloggers in real life, but I’ve made a lot of great friends through this blog. I probably can’t name them all, but: Ashleigh  (A Frolic Through Fiction), Whitney (Brown Books & Green Tea), Megan (BookSlayerReads), Lindsay (Lindsay’s Library), Emma (The Terror of Knowing), Heather (Bits & Books), Alicia (A Kernel of Nonsense), Nicole (Sorry, I’m Booked), and Heather (Sassy Book Geek) of course! (Sorry if I forgot anyone!)

Who originally created the last meme or tag you participated in? Give them a shout out!

The last tag I participated in is The Amsterdam Book Tag, which was created by Michelle at The Writing Hufflepuff. Really enjoyed this tag, and thought it was very unique.

Have you any social media related to your blog?

I have Twitter (@biblioadvntrs), Instagram (advntrsofabibliophile), Snapchat (biblioadvntrs), and Litsy (AdventuresOfABibliophile).

Last but not least …. just say thanks to all your followers.

Thank you! I love you guys, and it really means a lot that you stick around and read my crazy rambling posts.

I tag everyone who I mentioned above, and anyone else who would like to do this post!
