Top Ten Tuesday | Things Books Made Me Want to Do

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about things books made me want to do. This is going to be a short post, because I don’t have much time to write today – I’m just happy to get a post up at all. So, without further ado, here are the top ten things books have made me want to do (in no particular order), and the books that inspired those things:

  1. Live in a castle. Basically every fantasy book ever.
  2. Learn LatinRed Rising and Harry Potter
  3. Go on a road trip. Paper Towns.
  4. Read more books. Pretty much any book.
  5. Curl up in a ball and never leave my bed. The Book Thief and A Little Life.
  6. TravelToo many books to name.
  7. Change the world. I Am MalalaMy Life on the Road, and How to Be a Woman.
  8. Write. Any book that’s well written.
  9. Play video gamesReady Player One.
  10. Attend a magic school. Harry PotterThe Magicians, and The Name of the Wind.

What’s something a book made you want to do?

  1. Go on a road trip seems like a popular choice this week! I definitely want to do that too – I road trip quite often, but the experience is different depending on who you go with.

Also Ready Player One, omg. Although for me it was “enter a video game” rather than just playing the game, haha.

    Here’s my TTT. 🙂

  2. Learning Latin and “Ready Player One” (for ’80s movies) made my list. “RPO” also made me wish I could travel back in time and visit an arcade when they were the cool place to be!

I’m all for living in a castle, but since I’ve never actually seen a castle in real-life, I’d happily settle for visiting! I just received a postcard in the mail yesterday featuring six castles in Scotland and I think I may have started drooling a little…
