Weekly Wrap Up – December 5

Stack Of Books

How is it December already? This year has gone by so quickly. And I know the rest of it isn’t going to go by any slower – the holiday season always seems to speed past. This is going to be a pretty short weekly wrap up because between being sick and the end of term, I didn’t get very much done. I have a twenty-page term paper on Jane Austen due tomorrow, and so far, I’ve written one paragraph. So you can guess what I’ll be doing today. Luckily, I write well under pressure. But this is going to take a lot of coffee. Just saying.

I started off the week on a high note with Saga Vol. 2. This series is ridiculously good! I already got Vol. 3, but I’m saving it for when I need a pick-me-up edit: I read it on Thursday as a reward for finishing all my homework (other than my paper) and forgot to update this post. Oops! But it was amazing. Hopefully I will get the next two installments later this month. They make really great reads, and I love that I can sit and binge-read them in just an hour or so.

And that’s all I’ve read this week, sadly. Though I have been working on A Brief History of TimeThrough the Narrows, and The Relic Hunter by Christopher Buckley (which I will review soon, since it comes out Tuesday). I have a lot of books to read this month, so I really need to get on that!

I also don’t have a haul for you this week, which, let’s be honest, is a good thing. I didn’t buy any books! But I did finally see Mockingjay pt. 2 last night and it was amazing! The Hunger Games is definitely one of my favorite film adaptations. I’m kind of sad that it’s over.

And a bit of an announcement (which I might regret later): I have decided that I’m going to post EVERY SINGLE DAY in December! I have a ton of book tags to do, holiday gift guides, favorites, wrap ups, and hopefully some book reviews.

That’s it for this weekend! I hope you all have had a great start to December! Let me know what you’re reading this weekend in the comments.
