November Book Haul

I’m actually really proud of my book buying in November! I acquired a total of thirty books (a bit better than the previous month’s forty-five), six of which are ARCs (advance reader copies) from NetGalley, one of which I purchased as an ebook (so it doesn’t take up space), and a whopping thirteen of which I got in Black Friday sales (mostly on Book Outlet). I also got three signed books, because I saw one at Target and couldn’t resist, and I went to a Neil Gaiman event and, obviously, I couldn’t leave without a signed copy of American Gods.

Overall, I think I did pretty well. Almost everything I got this month was something I really wanted to read (i.e. not impulse buys), which is something I have a problem with. And I think I’ll do even better this month, since I actually have to spend my money on other people. And my family refuses to encourage my book addiction, so I probably won’t be getting any books for Christmas. Oh, well.

  1. That’s a seriously impressive haul!! I only got two books this month- Winter by Marissa Meyer and Control by Lydia Kang. XD I hope you enjoy Dream A Little Dream! I read it a few months ago and found the second half disappointing.

  2. Look at all those books! You’ve got some good ones in there. 🙂 I actually just read the first volume of “Saga” the other day. It was such a quick read and I wanted more (even though it was also kinda strange) so I immediately requested volumes 2 and 3 from the library. Hope you enjoy it too!
