30 Day Writing Challenge Day 15: Bullet Point My Day

It would be pretty difficult/inconvenient to bullet point my day today, so here’s what my typical grad student homework/nothing day looks like:

  • Wake up
  • Hit snooze four-six times
  • Check email/Instagram/Facebook on my iPad
  • Get out of bed
  • Make coffee
  • Sit at desk
  • Contemplate starting homework
  • Watch Youtube videos while finishing coffee
  • Check posting board for class
  • Take coffee mug back to kitchen
  • Pet cat
  • Play game on phone
  • Sit at desk
  • Check email/Instagram again
  • Start reading for class
  • Take a break from reading for class
  • Get/make lunch
  • Catch up on last night’s TV while eating
  • Write blog post(s)
  • Finish reading for class
  • Check homework assignments
  • Complain about homework assignments
  • Update Goodreads
  • Check email/Instagram again
  • Play with cat
  • Read book
  • Get/make dinner
  • Watch Netflix
  • Play with cat
  • Feed cat
  • Read book
  • Sleep

And that’s my typical day (when I’m not nannying). Obviously I’m a huge procrastinator, and I’ve recently rediscovered Temple Run on my iPhone (so that’s been a massive time suck). I also have one or two days a week where I take a break from homework completely, depending on how much I have to do. Usually, I will binge watch TV shows online, read a fun book, or spend hours playing The Sims (so glad Sims 4 runs well on my Macbook!).

Also, I’m officially halfway through this challenge! So exciting! I’ve really enjoyed it so far, and it’s resulted in a lot of posts I probably wouldn’t have written otherwise. Hope you’re all enjoying it as well.

*I posted an update post on how my day actually went, so go check that out here!
